Attendees also have a chance to design their own projection\, with 150 entries selected each week to feature on the ASN Co. Building’s Clock Tower in The Rocks. \n\nThis year the entire Vivid Light Walk is free for everyone to enjoy. New buildings and landmarks that feature as part of the festival this year include Museum of Sydney\, The Bond in Barangaroo and Challis House in Martin Place. Having moved from a single day event to a two-day expo back in 2017\, the event pulls crowds from near and far who come for the pure love of wool and its many uses. Previous WorldPride celebrations include New York in 2019 marking 50 years since the Stonewall uprising\, and Copenhagen in 2021 celebrating both WorldPride and the EuroGames. Sydney was chosen by InterPride members to be the host of WorldPride in 2023\, and we couldn’t be more proud.  \n\n\n\n\n\nSydney 2023\n\n\n\n\nSydney WorldPride events will take place from February 17 2023 until March 5 2023\, with the official Sydney WorldPride Opening Ceremony taking place on February 24\, a First Nations Gathering Space\, a game-changing Human Rights Conference\, an unforgettable Pride March across the Sydney Harbour Bridge\, a closing ceremony and a sensational party on Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach (plus lots more events still to be announced)! \nWe are developing a full arts and cultural program across Greater Sydney reflective of our diverse LGBTIQ+ communities. Shane is a man constantly remaking himself and we look forward to seeing him hit our stage in 2022. \nIt’s been nearly a decade since a congregation of 40-something\, part-time musos got together in a shed on Round Mountain in the most northern part of NSW to play “a buncha old songs for a bit a fun”. Nearly 10 years and hundreds of shows on\, and the now predominantly 50 somethings\, Round Mountain Girls have played on Australia’s biggest stages at Australia’s biggest festivals\, alongside some of the world’s biggest names\, released 3 original albums and\, for good measure\, a covers EP. For a band that got together with absolutely zero expectations other than a weekly jam\, they have punched way above their collective weight\, but when you see them play live\, and witness the energy and joy they bring to an audience\, it’s very easy to understand why. \nAlong the way they have sought to collaborate with all sorts and all kinds in an effort to share the RMG love and have never been shy of shaking up the show.
